Eastwood 'Hetherwold' Arts And Crafts 1907

This beautiful historic home 'Hetherwold' Circa 1907, designed by Architect George W Hetherwold is rich in aesthetic appearance of the Federation Arts and Craft style. Studio Trio enjoyed working on this project from start to finish alongside the heritage architect David White. Our team were engaged with everything from full Interior CAD documentation, exterior and interior colours and full interior decoration.

Our client's Craig and Hannah and their 3 children were delightful to work with, truly embracing the design process and creative journey. The brief was to be sympathetic to heritage design but to bring the home up to newer colour palettes of today. The home needed to reflect a fresh, younger classic feel, opulent, cater to all their needs and most importantly remain homely. A pastel palette was selected of pretty green's, soft blue's, warm grey's, blush pink's and fresh White's. Original heritage features were retained or reinstated and selections were made to enhance the pretty architecture.

Everything was carefully designed from a full working kitchen, scullery, large laundry and mud room, formal areas for large entertaining, a bar for mixing drinks, family area for more casual daily use, lovely bathrooms that stand the test of time and finally beautiful bedrooms to reflect their personalities and for guests to enjoy.
